S-45 Hand Held Plasma Torch Blow Back Start 25 Ft. Central Connector
The S-45 is a non-contact, blow back start style 40-50A rated torch with pilot arc designed for hand cutting. Natively fits older PowerPlasma 50S units and Early Hurricane 220 MTS-C units with a Central connection. (Hurricane users with the Central connector may upgrade to the iPT 40 if desired) Reuse the 35 Dinse Connector on the old torch or a new one may be found and purchased under the "Parts" tab. Consumables should be changed to fit the Amperage. Can be fitted with consumables ranging from 20-50A in capacity (.6-1.0mm orifice). This type of torch uses the consumable shoulder to initiate the arc by "blowing back" the spring loaded consumable with air pressure during start to strike an arc. (This is the standard type start for most modern plasma cuttings systems under 150A.)
