Authorized Return Forms for Warranty
If you are here, it's likely you are needing help with your welder, or are seeking to return the unit for warranty repair. We know it's not ideal to have any piece of equipment go down on you, so we've tried to make the process painless and fast as possible. However, there are a few things you need to know and a few things you need to pay attention to get your unit back to you as soon as possible and covered under our warranty.
If this is a non-warranty return for repair, we still want to help! You will need to consult with a member our technical support team, if you haven't already, to diagnose and determine the best route of repair. It's free to any Everlast owner, and our trained and experieced staff can provide a lot of helpful information and may be able to help you avoid a costly repair. A member of our tech team can also help you arrange a repair and can provide you with the appropriate repair facility for your area or product.
Before the Call: Working with Our Tech Support Team
Our tech support team members are troubleshooting experts who also have years of real-world welding experience.
To help you quickly and accurately, we start with a few basic checks to rule out common issues. This is done to not only to prevent mis-diagnosis and but also to direct the unit to the proper repair facility. We appreciate your patience with this process!
How you can help us speed things up:
- Be near the machine: If possible, have your powered-on welder right in front of you when you call. If that does not work, we can work with you to schedule a better time when this is possible.
- Share details: Please be ready to answer our questions as specifically as you can. We know that we start with very basic questions, but please trust the process. Skipping ahead through the basic process often results in mis-diagnosis or needless returns. While some issues are obvious, please let us make a diagnosis. We do welcome all details about what led up to the problem and any extenuating circumstances. Many issues can resolved over the phone.
- Have tools ready: Having a screwdriver and a volt-ohm meter nearby during the diagnosis process is helpful, though not always required. Your tech support team member will verify with you what you may have available.
How to Start Your Warranty Return
We are here to help get your machine back up and running! To make your repair process as fast and smooth as possible, please follow these simple steps before sending anything to us or our designated repair facilities.
📞 Step 1: Connect With Our Tech Team
Before you ship your machine in for repair, please reach out to our Technical Support Team. We will help diagnose the issue right over the phone or email. If we cannot fix it together, we will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct return address of our repair facility.
PLEASE REMEMBER: YOU MUST RECEIVE AN OFFICIAL RMA NUMBER AND PROPER RETURN LOCATION FROM A MEMBER OF OUR TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM BEFORE RETURNING YOUR UNIT!
- Phone: 1-877-755-9353 (Extension 207)
- Email: tech@everlastwelders.com
📝 Step 2: Complete Your RMA Paperwork
Once you have your official RMA number, please download and fill out our Warranty Return Form. We need both the RMA number and this completed form at our repair station before our technicians can begin working on your machine.
🚚 Step 3: Shipping Your Machine
Because laser and general welding products are handled differently, our tech support team will give you a specific return address based on your location and equipment.
- If your warranty covers shipping: We will email you a prepaid shipping label.
- If your warranty does not cover shipping: You will be responsible for shipping costs both ways. We can happily create a label for you at cost once the shipping fee is paid.
- Please note: We will need to secure return shipping payment before sending your repaired machine back home to you if return shipping is not covered under the warranty policy specific to your unit.
- If you ship without return authorization, or you self-ship from your account or pay for inbound shipping to our designated repair facility, we cannot remiburse for shipping, even if your warranty on your machine covers it. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label, if your warranty includes shipping. Just ask about it. Not all products include free shipping. See the warranty policy in effect for the purchase date of your unit for included and excluded items. The listed items are subject to change. Download and keep a copy of your warranty at the time of purchase for future reference.
- You must pack your return item securely, in proper packaging to protect it against shipping damage. If the original packaging is lost or damaged, then it must be packed securely, with correct packaging materials and properly rated/reinforced boxes. Do not pack in "peanuts." Use proper foam packaging materials. Bubble Wrap is highly discouraged and will not last. Keep in mind the unit will be sent back to you in the same packing materials.
- If it is impossible to send the unit back in the packing materials you used, or the packaging is badly damaged, you may be charged for the packaging costs to return. We may have original type boxes available. Please call us if packaging is a concern. Technical support can provide you with more information if needed. Shipping damages will be noted and may delay the repair.
- Everlast or its repair centers are not responsible for shipping damage due inadequate packaging that you provide. It is suggested that you take pictures of the product and packaging before shipping for your records.
⚠️ A Quick Note on Our Independently Owned and Operated Repair Centers
Our repair facilities are trained and equipped by Everlast, but are independently owned and operated. To protect yourself from unexpected repair and shipping costs, please make sure to follow the steps above!
If a machine arrives without an RMA number, without the form, or at the wrong address, the repair center will bill you directly at its full repair rate and parts will be charged at their full retail price. Everlast cannot reimburse you for any repair or shipping charges, and we want to help you avoid them! Unauthorized returns may also experience long delays in processing or be sent back to you unrepaired at your full expense.
IMPORTANT! YOU MUST HAVE AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER ISSUED BY EVERLAST TECHNICAL SUPPORT BEFORE DOWNLOADING THIS FORM AND RETURNING THE WELDER. THIS FORM MUST ACCOMPANY THE WELDER WITH THE RMA NUMBER FILLED IN. DO NOT RETURN YOUR PRODUCT DIRECT TO EVERLAST UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY TECHNICAL SUPPORT. TECHNICAL SUPPORT WILL SUPPLY YOU WITH THE APPROPRIATE RETURN LOCATION AND ADDRESS. YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR THE REPAIR IF AN RMA NUMBER HAS NOT BEEN ISSUED BY EVERLAST TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND INCLUDED ON THIS FORM!
RedSabre units typically do not include shipping, except on the smaller, table top models. Please review with your technical support person about shipping your unit to your repair facility, and whether or not there is any shipping coverage.
