The iPT 40 is a non-contact, blow back start style 40A rated torch with pilot arc designed for hand cutting. Fits all Everlast plasma cutters with a Euro Central Connector. Natively fits the Storm 215-C which uses a 35 Dinse Connector/PowerAdapter for main connection. Consumables should be changed to fit the Amperage. Can be fitted with consumables ranging from 20-40A in capacity (.6-.9mm orifice). This type of torch uses the consumable shoulder to initiate the arc by "blowing back" the spring loaded consumable with air pressure during start to strike an arc. (This is the standard type start for most modern plasma cuttings systems under 150A.
