The Everlast 17 Series Amp Control allows amp control in combination with the 2T/4T controls on the welder. Recommended for Typhoon welders. Other units the torch may only work in 4T mode. It is designed to signal the upslope and downslope cycles, as well as the arc start and termination separately from the Amp adjustment. The torch has a rigid (fixed, non flex) neck design. The torch features separate on/off button along with a rotating North/South Amp control wheel built into the torch body. The Euro torch handle allows a comfortable grip. This torch is only designed for slight modification to Amperage while welding. It is not meant as a substitute for a foot pedal, since it has a separate torch switch that must activate and terminate the arc. This type of separate torch switch arrangement means that the adjustment of the amperage should be done before starting the weld rather during welding. It is not meant to roll-on and roll-off the Amperage while welding. This torch includes the 35 DINSE-Type connector. It has up to 150A capability for DC and 120A capability for AC.
