PowerTIG 315LX

Designed for heavy commercial applications, the PowerTIG 315LX is a highly capable, AC/DC TIG and Stick welder with power to spare for most jobs.  The IGBT inverter creates a stable smooth arc, and provides a true industrial duty cycle of 60% at 315 amps.  This unit operates on 240V single phase power, and is designed for production welding.  The welder features a 10 amp DC start and a 20 amp AC start.  The PowerTIG 315LX offers industrial power and design.  The newly redesigned unit features digital IGBT control with analog inputs and smaller, more compact case.  It also features a remarkable 20-500Hz AC frequency and a pulse frequency up to 750Hz, to keep pace with the most demanding welding requirements. The new case design features a smaller, more compact foot print.  This allows the unit to be used with the PowerCool 375. Now with HV Start. This is an advanced type of HF arc start with electronic control rather than older point gap style starts that required maintenance. Now with Fan-On-Demand.  The fan now runs when it is needed, starting on arc start and terminating as the welder cools down enough after the arc stops.
